Rugby
The Great Northwest Challenge (GNC) is a premier select-side rugby tournament designed to identify top high school talent from across the United States — a pathway event for USA Rugby that supports player development and college recruitment. The Varsity Rugby Initiative aims to elevate rugby to varsity sport status in Montana, giving student-athletes structured competition, college pathways, and community support. MIS has been responsible for creating 4 new youth rugby programs across Montana.
